I ordered from momentskis.com last week and expected it to take a bit, since skis aren’t exactly a small thing to ship. Figured I’d be waiting around for a while, but that wasn’t the case at all.

I got the tracking info quickly, and the box actually showed up a couple days earlier than the estimate. Everything was packed well and the box looked totally fine when it arrived, which is always a relief with bigger gear.
If anyone’s trying to get set up before a trip or just wants to get on the mountain soon, the shipping speed was a nice surprise. I’d say don’t stress too much about ordering close to when you need them, though I’d still give yourself a little buffer just in case.

I finally grabbed a pair of Moment skis after my buddy would NOT stop telling me to try them... i get it now!! They feel super planted when I’m moving fast, with none of that weird chatter or sketchy wobble, even when the run is all chopped up. So far, I’m stoked with them!!!

I’ve been on my Moment skis for two full seasons now, mostly resort days plus a handful of sketchy early-season laps where I definitely hit more rocks than I wanted to.

I was expecting them to look trashed by now. The topsheets do have some chips and dings, which bugs me a little, but it’s not anything out of the ordinary. The bases have held up surprisingly well, though, especially considering the abuse they’ve taken.

So far I’ve only had to keep up with normal tuning. No weird delam, no soft spots, nothing that makes me nervous yet. I’m still a little paranoid every time I smack something under the snow, but overall these have been tougher than I expected.

I had to swap my skis for a different length, and the exchange was straightforward. I emailed them and heard back the next day with clear instructions, so that part was easy. The return shipping took a little longer than I would’ve liked, but I think I just hit it at a bad time. Once everything got sorted, they sent out the new pair. Not totally perfect, but it wasn’t a huge hassle either

Bottom line, I’m really happy with these skis. I took my Moment skis out after a storm, and they were awesome in the fresh powder. They floated really well, felt super playful in the soft stuff, and were easy to turn. Once everything got chopped up later in the day, they felt like a bit more ski than I wanted, which is the only reason I’d knock off a star. But for fresh snow days, they’re a blast.

I had a question about sizing and they got back to me quickly, which I really appreciated. They were friendly and didn’t make me feel silly for asking something simple. The order update was clear too. It’s a small thing, but it makes a difference when a company treats you like a person and actually takes the time to reply.
